The Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC (CDLFC) were the first club to commit to playing in the inaugural 2020 season of the Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL). Since the first season in 2014, CDLFC have been a member of USL League Two and will continue to field a first-team in the League. In 2018, CDLFC created a second team that was committed to provide more opportunities for players in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky regions. The creation of the OVPL has provided CDLFC a place for those players to continue playing.

Home games for CDLFC are played at Northern Kentucky University’s soccer stadium. The venue is home to NKU Norse men’s and women’s NCAA Division I soccer teams and has been the CDLFC home venue since 2017. A soccer-specific stadium with brand-new turf, the venue is one of the finest in the region.
